Equine services are provided under the watchful eye of our Principal Rider and Trainer, Fern Wright...

Fern Wright is offering riding lessons to young and old and everything in between. With extensive experience riding both ponies and horses, and a sensitive rapport with both, Fern makes a patient, understanding instructor. Lessons may take part indoors or outdoors as there are the two arenas available.

Alternatively, Fern is able to give you a remote lesson via Skype or other, which would eliminate the need to travel. Fern may also be prepared to travel to your a venue of your choice if conditions are suitable.

Other services provided include a personally tailored horse care lessons, which could include tacking and untacking, grooming, plaiting, washing etc. Lessons may also be available on School horses.

Rates are reasonable, so contact the stud to discuss your needs and/or book a lesson.

The stud takes on a few approved ponies and horses at a time for a variety of training services including:

Starting under saddle

Basic education

More advanced training including dressage training

Competing at all EA and FEI levels in Dressage

Competing Ponies from the WP&CS Stud book at shows and other events
